There was a certain calm before the bohemian storm that was Burberry Prorsums’ AW15 showcasing of what many agree to be one of the finest collections Christopher Bailey has dispatched down the runway. The mood was sweet, resultant of the serene musical renditions by British singer-songwriter Clare Maguire and an ecru-esque velvet-cloaked tent.
Paisley, camo, and floral prints were noticeable but it was the mirror embroidery and leopard prints that upped the ante in support of the peacocks and the bolder gentleman. Accessories were certainly in focus with scarfs, specs and winter shades complementing every look. The bags were of a holdall assortment, with totes being offered in calfskin, camo, coloured leather and fabrics used in the fashion. Overall… a true serving of hippiedom chic.
